Product Abstract: Oregano is an upright perennial herb, growing to about thirty-two inches with a straight stem covered in hair. The leaves are dark green and oval in shape, and it has a profusion of pink flowers clustered at the top of the branches. Its name is actually derived from the Greek phrase, 'joy of the mountains'. Just married couples were crowned with wreaths of Oregano, and it was placed on graves to give peace to departed spirits.

Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided. According to "Essential Oil Safety" by Robert Tisserand - "Using more than Topical Max (1% dilution) can cause irritation or sensitization. Avoid using on Hypersensitive, Diseased, or Damaged Skin. Also Avoid If taking Aspirin or Blood Thinners, have Bleeding Disorders, and Before or After Surgery. Also Avoid if Pregnant, Breastfeeding and Children under 2 yrs old and Avoid with Dogs. (Avoid All Essential Oils with Cats)"
