Background 

Creator of Enchanted Essences, Lisa, is certified as an Aromatherapy Practitioner through Jeanne Rose Aromatherapy Studies Course of San Francisco, California. She has been studying aromatherapy and the effects on human beings since 1994. She continues to be a lifetime student of the unlimited learning process of aromatherapy, essential oils, and plants. Being holistically minded, Lisa is a licensed massage therapist, currently practicing therapeutic massage, foot reflexology, ear candling and is pursuing education in the field of nutrition and natural health. Lisa offers therapeutic massage therapy at her location or in the comfort of your home. Please contact us for details. Meditation, quiet time, and spending time in nature are also part of her whole approach to balance and harmony.

A Message from Lisa 

Aromatherapy can be defined as therapy or treatment using pure essential oils obtained from plants through inhalation and external application. Essential oils are the volatile substance contained in the flowers, leaves, glands, veins, sacs and glandular hairs of aromatic plants. They are the "heart and soul" of the plant. Essential oils are obtained from the plants most commonly through steam distillation. It is the chemical components of these precious essential oils that offer healing and therapeutic properties which when used with care, respect, and understanding can work in a positive way helping to balance the human being on levels of body, mind, and spirit.

My approach to using essentials oils in aromatherapy is from a "holistic" prospective.
I believe everything is connected, therefore when one function or energy is
out of balance it effects the whole being. My goal is working to balance the
being as a whole and not
just the immediate
symptoms. I believe that aromatherapy
is one powerful tool which
can assist on all levels of the being.

The oil blends and spray mists I have created can work through inhalation via the olfactory system. Externally applied, some of the essential oils will be absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream where the healing effects are circulated through the body. The roll-on blends are also effective through inhalation and by applying to warm pulse points of the body such as wrists, neck, behind knees, and underarms. The massage oils can be used in the bath as well as for massage. The skin care line is made with natural base ingredients to which I add appropriate essential oils.

All of Enchanted Essences products are hand-made with 100% pure essential oils and natural ingredients.

Why Handmade?

Most mass produced aromatherapy products contain chemicals, additives, artificial colors, preservatives and even the fragrance is synthetic, unless pure essential oils are used. Vanilla scents are almost always synthetic. Read the ingredients on labels of body care products and you will see long lettered words that you cannot even pronounce! Those are chemicals.

Using synthetics and chemicals can contribute to the build up of toxins in the body, create allergic reactions, and suppress the immune system. There are enough toxins and pollutants in the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink or bathe in. We don’t have to contribute to it further.

Pure essential oils have many therapeutic properties, some include detoxifying effects and immune boosting properties. If used properly essential oils can support the body to attain good health and radiant beauty!
